Galwegians Women’s Rugby enjoys a long and illustrious history as one of Ireland’s most dominant and consistent teams.

The Women’s squad competes in the All Ireland League against the best teams in the country. In addition to this premier league competition, the team also competes in the All Ireland Cup and the Leinster Paul Flood Cup. Galwegians women were winners of the Leinster Cup in 2010-11 and runners up in 2012-13, and they won the All Ireland Cup in 2012-13 and again in 2013-14.

Off the pitch the Women’s side are a crucial component of Wegian’s social activities with a social calendar to rival our fixtures list.

The Women’s team train twice weekly on Tuesday & Thursday evenings at 7pm in Crowley Park.
