Match Report
Galwegians' first outing of the season was a very disappointing comprehensive defeat at home to Buccaneers on Saturday Sept. 1st.
Having played against a stiff breeze in the first-half, Wegians contained Buccs to a solitary try in the opening half-hour, and in the dying minutes of the opening period they even snatche the lead through a try from centre Brett Sweeney and a penalty by Barry Murphy. However despite playing with the wind in the second-half, the new-look Wegians side totally lost the plot and conceded four extremely soft tries to Buccaneers as their play became a litany of individual errors. So major room for improvement is required all round.
