Under 13 Blues won their plate quarter final against U13 whites 19 – 17.
Those who were at the match witnessed a match of the highest quality. The lead changed hands five times, with the result being in doubt until the final minutes.
This was the second time the Wegians teams played each other this year, with both teams recording one win each. Both games have resulted in three tries for each team, and the difference has been down to a kick of the ball. This was the case on Saturday with the final conversion being an excellent kick from out towards the right touchline.
The Blues now meet South Sligo in the semifinal this weekend.
