Match Report

The Blues  had a good outing last Sunday in their final division 1 league  game. The game was played in Crowley Park due to flooded pitches in Ballina.

The Blues led from the start with  well worked tries from James Keane  and Luke Casserly.  Calum Elwood had an excellent conversion from the touchline.  This left it 14 :5 to the blues at the break.

A slight lapse in the otherwise excellent blues defence allowed Ballina in for a try after the break. The Blues responded with a try from Colm Shaughnessey and Conor  Gibbs leaving it 24: 10 at the final whistle.

This leaves  the Blues in contention for the play offs for the league final if the final games in the league  go their way.

Next up its the Blacks vs Sligo  in Hamilton Park on Saturday..
