Galwegians Blue finished their league campaign with a fine win over Oughterard on Sunday with a score line of 59-14.
After a tough first half Oughterard went into the break leading 14-12. Two tries from Cian Healy and some good defending kept Galwegians in the game.
The second half was all one way traffic 8 tries and some brilliant team work finished off Oughterard. Tries from Eanna O Foghil, Eoghan O Connell, Cianan Fahy, Cian Healy and two each from Liam Forde and Aaron O Halloran sealed a great win. Jonah Culligan chipped in with 3 conversions to keep the score board ticking over.
Highlight of the match was a drop goal outside the 22 from front row Conal Fallon, a kick even O Gara would have been proud of.
Next up for the Blues is the quarter finals in January.
