Pat is married to Mary, and together they have two sons, Tiernan and Garvin, both of whom progressed through the Galwegians pathway from Minis to Under-20 level as well as representing Connacht up to U 18’s As a family, rugby has been a significant part of their lives, and Galwegians has provided many lasting friendships and cherished memories over the years.
Professionally, Pat is Managing Director of Expert Retirement & Investments Ltd., a Galway-based financial planning and pensions advisory firm, where he has spent many years helping individuals, families and businesses plan for their financial futures.
A long-time member and supporter of Galwegians RFC, Pat is deeply honoured to serve as President. He is passionate about supporting every aspect of the club—from Minis and Youth Rugby to Women’s and Senior Rugby—and believes the club’s greatest strength lies in its people, its volunteers and its strong sense of community.
Outside of rugby, Pat is a keen cyclist who enjoys endurance events and believes that the values of commitment, teamwork and resilience are as important in everyday life as they are on the rugby pitch.
Pat looks forward to working with the Executive Committee, members, volunteers, coaches, players and supporters to help ensure Galwegians continues to thrive for generations to come.
